The Women's Studies Minor is a liberal arts, interdisciplinary minor that teaches students to challenge conventional ways of knowing, to evaluate the distribution of power, to think critically, and to respond intellectually to multiple ways of thinking. Because the minor seeks to introduce students to the current research on women in a wide range of disciplinary approaches, students will learn how different disciplines, such as sociology, history, biology, literary studies, and others, formulate questions on women's experiences.
