The Bryant College Sponsored Research Program supports faculty and
staff members within the Academic Affairs Division. The program assists
individuals in generating ideas and identifying potential funding sources
for research, education or economic development. The program is designed
to help people who are novices, as well as the more experienced professional.
The Sponsored Research Program has been successful in working with
faculty and staff in a variety of areas and different types of sources.
Bryant College has obtained federal grants from: the U.S. Department
of Defense (DOD), the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA),
Economic Development Administration (EDA), Fund for the Improvement
of Post-Secondary Education (FIPSE), the U.S. Small Business Administration
(SBA), and the U.S. State Department. Also, Bryant College has received
funds from the State of Rhode Island and private foundations to support
a variety of initiatives.

IRIS is an on-line searchable database of all available grants for
all fields of study. It is very powerful. We can work with you to
help you find what you want, but feel free to experiment with it yourself.
If you choose, you can receive automatic notices from the database
about funding opportunities in your area. This database is free from
any computer on the Bryant campus.
