Students majoring in Applied Psychology are encouraged to try out career possibilities through internship experiences.
As part of our senior capstone coursework, many of our students choose the Internship Seminar Course (PSY 491). For this course, students work with faculty to find a position in the field where they can gain work experience. Students get the added opportunity to learn from each others’ internship experiences through the seminar course.
In addition, many of our students work with the Amica Center for Career Education to find summer internships.
