Rainforest Protection Programs
There
are various types of Rainforest Protection Programs that have been established.
They range from educational to going to a website and clicking on Save
an Area of Rainforest. Both Rainforest Alliance and Conservation International
have set up programs to aid in the protection of rainforests. Rainforest
Alliance has such programs as Adopt-A-Rainforest, Sustainable Agriculture,
Neotropics Communication, SmartWood, SmartVoyager, along with many others.
Each program focuses on a different method to protect the rainforest.
Conservation International, also has set up programs, thei
r programs focus on such things
as ecotourism and coffee and cocoa growing in the shade, etc.
