OIL SPILL CLEANUP TECHNOLOGY
On Prince William Sound,
in Alaska in 1989, a major oil spill occurred when the Exxon Valdez grounded
on Bligh Reef. Spilling over 11 million gallons of crude oil, from the
53 million it was caring, it was the largest in US history. This caused
many people to come together to clean up and take responsibility for what
occurred. With the difficulty of the clean up, it was very important for
extreme measures to be taken.
