1976 -1977

1977 - 1978 contaminated material from Remnant Deposit

3A. Contained with dredge spoils from

navigational dredging in New Moreau landfill

(clay-lined, TSCA permitted). Also

conducted bank stabilization of remnant

deposits.

1989 - 1991
2-feet of soil, plus geobentonite mat

(approximately 60 acres). Shoreline

protection upgraded for protection from

100-yr flood. Remedial Action under 1984

ROD. Cost $20 - $30 Million.

1992 - 1993
sites, SA-13 and Bouy 212 4/93 (Adjacent to GE Hudson Falls plant site) shut

off. Bedrock seeps within the mill and

raceways no longer in contact with river.

Fall 93
Allen Mill removed, and seep collection

system installed.

1993 - 1994
9/94 upper raceway. 1995 Hudson Falls plant site for seep collections

and recovery wells.

1995 - 1997
Falls plant site and tailrace tunnel. 1995 shoreline stabilization, and removal of old

pipeline and trench.

1996
and tailrace tunnel 1997 Falls plunge pool. 11/97 - present Bakers Falls dam to investigate bedrock

seeps.

1997 on
through hydroplant to limit potential for

DNAPL seeps to reach river.
