INTERCOLLEGIATE
INVESTMENT COMPETITION
Begins: October 3rd,

The Bryant University Finance Association
will be hosting an intercollegiate stock market investment competition
for the fall 2005 semester.
The competition will be a live simulation
of the current market using Investopedia.com's website and software
to host the competition. We will limit trading to securities and options
and the top three teams with the highest percent return towards the
end of the semester will win prizes. The competition will run from October
3rd, 2005 to December 9th, 2005.

CAMPUSWIDE INVESTMENT COMPETITION
Began: September 24th, 2005
The Finance Association will be sponsoring
another campus investment competition. Participants will need to create
a free account on Investopedia.com and then enter the “Bryant
University Fall 2005” game where they will receive $100,000 to
invest in the simulated market. The top three people with the highest
returns will win prizes. The competition starts today and will end Tuesday,
December 6th. For further information about creating a username and
password and joining the game please view the information page.
Students that are not members of the Finance Association
must pay a $5 fee to play.

2nd – $150
3rd – $50
