Yahoo! Finance is the top financial news and research website in the United States, with more than 18 million visitors in May 2008. Yahoo! Finance offers information including stock quotes, stock exchange rates, corporate press releases and financial reports, and popular message boards for discussing a company's prospects and stock valuation.  

CNBC is a US business news site, owned and operated by NBC Universal. The network covers business headlines and provides live coverage of financial markets. The network is currently ranked as the 19th most valuable cable channel in the U.S., worth roughly $4 billion.

The Financial Times (FT) is a British international business newspaper. The FT has specialized in reporting business and financial news while maintaining an independent editorial outlook. It is full of comprehensive articles and full daily reports on the world markets. NOTE: The site only allows you to view 3 articles a month without giving them an e-mail address. Once an address is registered for free you can view up to 10 articles a month. For unlimited access you have to subscribe for $3.44 per week. Although most of you guys aren't going to subscribe there are some very good articles on there, and you might as well check out the free ones.

Investopedia is one of the Internet's largest sites devoted entirely to investing education. The site was started in June 1999 at the height of the internet stock boom as an unbiased source to learn about investing. The website has an awesome financial dictionary, which manages to explain almost any financial term in plain English. The site is home to over 1,500 articles, 5,300 dictionary entries, and 750 pages of tutorials on nearly every aspect of finance and investing.

BusinessWeek is a national business magazine published by McGraw-Hill. It is known for publishing annual rankings of United States business school programs, and it focuses on financial publication and new coverage. Come see how Bryant stacks up!

Forbes is another American business magazine published on a bi-weekly basis. The magazine is well-known for its lists, including its lists of the richest Americans (the Forbes 400) and its list of billionaires. It also has plenty of articles and business news coverage. The motto of Forbes magazine is "The Capitalist Tool."

Reuters is a British based news service and former financial market data provider that provides reports from around the world to newspapers and broadcasters. Its main focus was on supplying the financial markets with information, such as share prices and currency rates, research and analytics. However, their site is more geared toward maintaining up-to-date coverage of financial news.

Dynamic Yield Curve of interest rates is one of the most important indicators of the lending in our economy, and this application is a really cool way to observe it. The website actually gives you an accurate depiction of the yield curve on any given date and then strings them all together into one program. If you hit (Animate) it will show you how the curve has shifted over time.

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is an international professional designation offered by the CFA Institute to financial analysts who complete a series of three exams. The CFA designation is one of the most well recognized titles you can achieve after graduation, and it is qualification for finance and investment professionals, particularly in the fields of investment management, investment banking and financial analysis of stocks, bonds and their derivative assets. The program focuses on portfolio management and financial analysis, and provides a general knowledge of other areas of finance.
