Midwifery:

A Choice in Prenatal Care

I learned about midwifery and the technology of medicine while working on this project. Midwifery was a personal choice for me at the time my children were born and I hope the use of this project will help others when making their choice. I hope you enjoy our presentation. -Barbara

I learned about midwifery and the traditions of medicine passed down from colonial midwifery to the 20^th Century. Midwives not only attended deliveries but also treated the sick in addition to bearing their own children and running their own household.
