Cellular phones have made quite an impact on this country, but it is far from over. I have to admit that I enjoy the convenience and security of having my cell phone. Seeing those cell towers along the side of the interstate highway does not concern me as much as what is happening to our countryside . The government should make it mandatory for these companies to use each others towers instead of erecting individual towers for each company. Preserving the pristine mountaintops, trails, and local neighborhood charm has to be taken into consideration as much as possible to allow for the coexistence of the cell phone industry and the cell phone customer.

Some hikers of these trails are now carrying cell phones with them for emergencies. Cell phones are providing an essential link to law enforcement and emergency rescues. Cell phone use in a vehicle along with common sense, can be problem free. People reporting accidents almost as they happen will save lives by providing the quick response necessary in a life or death situation.

Cell phones are here to stay and the advantages cellular phones certainly outweigh the disadvantages to me.
