We would especially like to thank the Plainfield Historical Society for the large amount of useful information they helped us attain. Although a large amount of the information we received was quite valuable, much of it was given to us in pamphlet and brochure form and was hard to reference in an MLA format. Much of the research aspect of this project was handled by Dan while the computer applications were handled by Sean. The compiling and analyzing of information was done as a joint effort.
A suggested topic of future research could be to compare and contrast the effects of railroads and mills on the development of Plainfield.
