This web site deals with the changes in modes of transportation for overseas travel. In the period that followed the end of World War II airliners became increasingly more popular when traveling to overseas destinations such as Europe or Asia. This web site will try to explore the reasons for this fundamental shift by analyzing some travel data and the technological improvements in this arena during a timeframe reaching from 1945 to 1960.
