Advantages

There are many advantages that a Cassette Tape has over the rest of the competition in its market. For example, the cassette tape uses 2 to 4 tracts instead of the ancient 8 tract. This provides for a crisper sound and stops the bleeding of sounds on the tape. Technology such as the Dolby noise reduction led to a better sound and the compactness of the tape made it smaller than any other recording medium in the audio industry, when it was first introduced. Due to the size reduction there was great versatility in the cassette whether it be used in a portable player, a car or at home.
