The number of beds is related to the number of hospitals. As hospitals decrease so will the number of beds. Again during the late 1960’s, which were the golden years for hospitals, the number of beds was great. In the 1990’s where health care is a big issue and cutbacks are frequent the number of beds available have been affected.
