HIS 364 -- The History of American Technology-- surveys American technology from the colonial period through the late 20th century.  This website provides a collaborative learning environment for the course.

Student Projects provide the focal point for collaborative learning. Each semester, enrolled students develop course-related web projects. Every student project then appears for at least one additional semester. Selected projects remain well beyond that point. Many student projects become a regular part of the course teaching materials.

This site provides the on-line syllabus for students in His 364, but we welcome visitors, especially in our Projects area.

The Navigation Icons at left on syllabus pages provide access to major site areas. Navigation bars and icons at the top of pages provide links within each syllabus area.

The DC-3 Icon brings your browser back to this page. Links to individual student projects always open a new browser for project viewing. To return to the syllabus, simply close the browser displaying a project.
