How We Came to Collaborate  Back

Zhanna Vitkovskaya, Lena Yasukevich, Larissa Yatskevich, and Natasha Yermolaeva

On our arriving at EHU, we happened to sit next to each other in the second row at the wall during our first day. We got acquainted and went to lunch together. During lunch we told our stories about ourselves. All of us are teachers of English, and we started exchanging our experiences on methods of teaching. Lena came from Grodno, Natasha from Mogilev, and Larissa from Polotsk. Lena and Natasha share the same room at the hotel. They have a good chance to discuss questions raised during seminars after classes.

Later on Zhanna joined our company. She is from Minsk. The fact is that Zhanna and Lena studied at the same Institute. One more reason is that all of us happened to work on computers in the same lab. As it turned out, we have much in common. All of us feel great responsibility for our study here at the Summer School. When we start discussing some points, each of us finds certain interesting ideas. One more thing that unites us is our love of Belarus and the cities we live in.

When we were assigned the task of creating a project, we agreed to make a common Web page, because each of us wants to place the information about her native city on the Website.
