Applicants
may include younger university teachers, graduate students and research workers
involved in teaching in the CIS, who are interested in Collaborative Learning
at a Distance, non-hierarchical learning, Internet research and interactive
communication in the fields of History, Economics and Environmental Policy.
Although prior computer and Internet skills are not required, participants will
be expected to learn these skills in the course.
Applicants must
present a short essay (300 words) on the Summer School topic. Papers must
be written in English.
