The main thrust behind the
Bryant University Community Connections Program is to provide the participants
from the Newly Independent Sates (NIS) with an opportunity to develop
and enhance their skills in areas relevant to business management and
operation, to increase their knowledge base about American life and culture,
and to aquaint them with the premises of collaborations between public
and private enterprises. Through this initiative, the participants will
have "hands-on" experience on the governance and operations
of, as well as interconnectedness between businesses and communities,
government and academic institutions. This is accomplished via professional
seminars and workshops, internships, and site visits to respective cultural,
governmental, educational, and business centers. |
