-During the year Bryant Helps sets up areas in the
faculty suits and in dorms to collect new and used toys to be given to local
centers / shelters.

Soup Kitchens
-Bryant
Helps has donated its time to helps some of the area soup kitchens as we
strive to not only help the Bryant community but the surrounding area and we
feel this is a great cause to get involved in.

 | Trick or Treat for Canned Goods
-This event takes place around Halloween when Bryant helps
goes around Smithfield
collecting canned goods for the RI food bank.

 | Helping Hands
-During December Helping Hands has a holiday party for less
fortunate children in the area and we offer our help in the festivities.
Helping Hands spends the entire year preparing for this event and their hard
work is evident.

 | Easter Party
-In the weeks preceding Easter, Bryant Helps puts on an
Easter Party where their is an Easter egg hunt and other fun activists along
with a visit from the Easter Bunny who the children get their pictures with.

 | Relay for Life
-This events purpose was to raise money for cancer and
cancer research. It is a major event on campus with many organization
participating along with us. Each team / organization obtains donations
along with their entry fee. During the night their are activates to keep
the team going as they walk throughout the night.

 | Silent Auction
- This event starts at the beginning of the year as we look
for items to auction off and throughout the year a stand is set up in the
Rotunda where bids can be made. In 2003 and 2004 the proceeds were donated to the
National Kidney Foundation.

 | Special Olympics

-When Special Olympics comes to Bryant College we help
where we are needed to help the day move smoothly.

 | Greeting cards for the elderly
-We will be doing this for most holidays in an effort to make
the residence lives a little cheerier for as most of us know receiving mail
always brightens our day. Just to know someone was thinking of us.

 | E-mail pals with local school children from
Global Park

- As the local elementary children learn to use
computers we are helping them with their skills as we correspond with them via
e-mail.
