The Bryant Economic Student Association was established two years ago in response to Bryant's addition of a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Economics, as well as a growing interest in economics on campus.

BESA will take what you learn about economics in the classroom and open up a whole new area of economic thought.

Purpose:

  1. To provide for the mutual association of students in order to create a forum for the discussion of common economic problems.
  2. To provide for the communication and exchange of experience between students and the business community.
  3. To promote and encourage friendly relations between its members and professional economists.
  4. To provide a forum for discussion of relevant economic issues by leading economists and business leaders.
  5. To benefit the Bryant community by providing speakers, trips, and alumni, among other things.

All students are welcome to attend if there is an interest in economics in you.  While this club is a response to the Applied Economics concentration, it is by no means a requirement to attend.
