campRecycling at Bryant University has maintained a steady stream of recyclables being sent to the Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) located in Johnston, Rhode Island at about a 10% level for recent years.

In the spring of 2008 the Recycling Summit was convened by the Center for Sustainable Business Practices (CSBP), to examine the structure and efficacy of Bryant University's recycling programs, as well as to identify the perception of associated problems. Summit members comprised faculty, students, staff, and administrators. The Recycling Summit Report was prepared in May 2009.

In January 2010 a summary of waste collection (July-December 2009) indicated an average 17% of waste generated on campus is recyclable material (click to see graphs).

Efforts of the Bryant community to be eco-friendly are greatly appreciated; let's keep it up!
