Ringing in a New Year
Bryant students are an integral part of relationship-building with alumni. The Bryant Annual Fund officially launched the 2009-2010 Student Calling Campaign on September 17. A group of 34 talented students, from freshmen through seniors, are reaching out to the Bryant community each night to solicit contributions, and to bring our alumni up to date on campus activities and academic accomplishments. The Telefund program, a vital part of Bryant’s Annual Fund, utilizes alumni gifts to provide students with annual scholarships and enriches their college experience through academic, sports and cultural programs and events.
In speaking with the students, it’s a great way for alumni to reconnect with Bryant and to learn first hand of the fantastic changes that have taken place at their alma mater. Through their work in this program, students have made new friends, expanded their networks and even obtained internships and job interviews with alumni.
The Telefund program, which runs through March 2010, has set a goal of $425,000 to the Bryant Annual Fund this year.
