Local and Regional Scholarships
Financial Executives Institute - Providence Chapter
Three awards - $500 each. Eligibility:
- Juniors majoring in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
- Overall GRA of "B" or better.

Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants
The Carl W. Christiansen Scholarship Fund.
In the past, awards have been for a minimum of $1,000. Eligibility:
- Legal resident of RI and citizen of the United States.
- Have an expressed interest in public accounting.
- Have an overall GPA of 3.0.
- In the opinion of the Accounting Department Faculty, must have demonstrated the potential to become a valued member of the Public Accounting Profession.

New England Graduate Accounting Study Conference (NEGASC)
Howard F. Green Scholarship Fund
Award is for $2,000. Eligibility:
- Accounting GPA, 3.5; overall GPA, 3.2.
- Applicants must be enrolled at a University or University in Rhode Island.
- Applicants need not be residents of RI.

Other Accounting Scholarships
Robert Half International/Accountemps and AICPA
Student Scholarships: Two awards - $2,500 each. Eligibility:
- Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems majors with overall and major GPA of at least 3.0.
- Completed at least 30 semester hours of credit including at least 6 semester hours in accounting.
- Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student (12 semester hours or equivalent), at an accredited University or university in the United States.
- AICPA student affiliate member - see Professor Roohani for details.

Max '49 & Edith Gold Scholarship
Awarded to entering freshman accounting or finance concentrators from the Fall River, MA area or the Newport, RI area with proven need.
Joseph S. Goldfine Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to an accounting concentrator with proven need.
E.F. Hand Scholarship
Awarded in honor of Nelson J. Gulski '26, '72H, '92H for an accounting concentrator with proven need.
KPMG Peat Marwick Scholarship
Awarded to a junior or senior accounting concentrator with a high GPA and proven need.
William and Olga O'Brien Scholarship Fund
Awarded to a commuter student enrolled in his or her junior year, who is an accounting concentrator with proven need.
Professor Robert A. Provost Scholarship
Awarded to a junior accounting major with proven need who has attended a Rhode Island high school.
Joseph A. Ruggieri Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to an accounting concentrator with proven need.
