The Master of Science in Taxation (MST) is a
comprehensive program designed for individuals who have a basic
knowledge of tax codes and who seek advanced knowledge of federal and
state tax laws and applications. MST applicants should possess a
strong academic record and are encouraged, but not required, to have
two years of professional experience. Students have the opportunity to
acquire expertise in all tax areas. This comprehensive program
includes core tax courses in individuals, corporations, partnerships,
trusts and estates. Students are also given the flexibility to choose
electives in advanced areas of specialization to meet their career
objectives.

Master of Business
Administration (MBA) in Accounting
An MBA in accounting can give you the technical and
managerial skills you will need to develop a successful career in
either public or private accounting. The broad spectrum of courses not
only prepares students for the CPA and CMA exams, it can also help you
prepare for promotions in the controller's office, the treasurer's
office, or the internal audit department.
Depending on the number of courses taken, you may
qualify for examination leading to certification in the accounting
field (i.e., Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management
Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor).
The MBA concentration in accounting consists of 15
credits of advanced graduate course work: 12 credits of accounting
concentration course work, and three credits of advanced course work
elected outside of accounting.
