The
Koffler Technology Center is Bryant's computer center. More than 200
terminals, microcomputers, and workstations are located here. Facilities
offer individual workstations for hands-on learning and shared workstations
for group projects. Studies can be complemented by work done in
the PC Lab, Word Processing Lab, Advanced Applications Lab, or the
Actuarial Lab. And on-campus communications options include e-mail,
Gopher, the Internet, the World Wide Web, and on-line discussion groups.
Technology extends well beyond one building. Bryant integrates academic
exploration by providing state-of-the-art equipment and fostering
a technological mindset. The Unistructure also has more than 200 computers
available for student use. |

Bryant's
computer center contains over 140 state-of-the-art Pentium based
personal computers provided on a high speed network. The facilities
are available for student access to assist in homework studies,
classroom assignments, hands-on training, group projects, e-mail
access, or research via our high speed Internet connection to the
World Wide Web. Also available are computer scanner stations and
laser printers for producing professional documentation.

Included
in the Koffler Center is the Discovery Lab, both a classroom and
a lab, where specialized tools such as digital cameras, photographic
printers, video capture devices, DVD players, sound systems and
CD ROM writers are used to explore applications to create multimedia,
webcasting and microcomputer systems architecture.The Koffler Labs
are supported by trained staff during all hours of operation to
assist in hardware and software related issues.
