Tom Baril Collection

In 2005, Peter Veritas from New York City, NY, donated this collection of 8 silver gelatin prints by Tom Baril, in honor of his father Peter J. Veritas, '57.
These beautiful photographs measure 15 by 19 inches and
are exhibited on the main floor of the Douglas and Judith Krupp Library of Bryant University until the end of  2006.

Tom Baril was born in Connecticut in 1952 and graduated from New York's School of Visual Arts in 1980 with a BA in photography, after which he served as Robert Mapplethorpe's exclusive print maker. Since then Tom Baril has distanced himself from the Mapplethorpe work and has enjoyed a solo career by bringing to us something uniquely his own - stunning imagery from both behind the camera and out of the darkroom.  For more information, see Tom Baril's website: www.tombaril.net.
