    What is recycling?

"Recycling is the reprocessing of materials into new products. Recycling prevents useful material resources being wasted,
reduces the consumption of raw materials and reduces energy usage, and hence greenhouse gas emissions"

    What materials can be recycled?

Materials such as glass, paper, aluminium, asphalt, iron, textiles and plastics can all be recycled.  Wasted food can also be recycled using using compost piles.

Why is recycling important for a college campus?

Recycling is important for college campuses because everyone wants a clean, beautiful campus. Bryant University's goal is to minimize waste and reuse/recycle material when it is
economically and environmentally appropriate. No body wants to drive onto their college campus and see bottles, paper, or cans littering their once beautiful campus.
