THE NEED FOR BUSINESS ANALYSTS

Business Analysts are responsible for analyzing the business needs of their clients and stakeholders to help determine business solutions to business problems.

The business analyst is a key facilitator in the project manage-
ment process and serves a liaison function between the business side of an enterprise and the information technology department or external service providers. The business analyst understands, challenges, recognizes opportunities, and recommends solutions designed to enable an organization to achieve its goals. Common alternate titles are business systems analyst, systems analyst, and functional analyst.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This program is designed for business analysts with a key role in managing and supporting projects that advance organiza-
tional strategic plans. It is also for individuals with diverse backgrounds and experience who are relatively new to the business analyst role or who are currently working on projects.

Business Analyst and Project Management
A Strategic Combination

Business analyst training complements our project management training as both disciplines are critical to a project's success. Project managers and business analysts each possess unique skills and knowledge that, when used together, result in highly successful projects.

Current PMP® certified project managers can enhance their project management skills, prepare for the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAPT) examination, and satisfy 35 of the 60 required continuing education credits. Bryant's Business Analyst program is approved by the PMI to award 35 PDUs.
