Class meets on Wednesday nights during the Spring Semester, China
study trip between May 23-June 14

What do you do in China?

Travel to eastern China: including 5 major cities and 6 Provinces
(see map above)

Visit US companies in China and talk to US representatives,
researchers, and business leaders

Field trips and excursions to archeological sites, historical
locations, museums, and natural wonders

Hands on experience on environmental studies (environmental
regulations and practice, sample collecting…)

Exchange programs with Chinese college students, and taste
real Chinese cuisine (I have to mention this!)
Prerequisites and costs?

One college level science course before the summer trip

Student will pay an inclusive fee ($3000) to cover international
travel, lodging, and culture activities

Departmental supports for minors in biotechnology and environmental
sciences
