Internship Placement

Students enrolled in the Accounting Information Systems program have the opportunity to gain practical experience during the 2000-2001 academic year by taking part in Bryant University's internship program. Internships have taken place at small, regional, and Big Five CPA firms, governmental agencies, not-for-profit organizations, small businesses, and large corporations.

Academic internships may be listed by the employer or may be developed by the student. Job descriptions outlining the intern's position are approved by the department chair (Saeed Roohani) to ensure the position duties result in an adequate level of responsibility to warrant academic credit. A faculty advisor establishes the learning objectives for the intern based on the job description. The student is then supervised by the faculty advisor and a site supervisor.

Contact Barbara Gregory, Assistant Director, Career Services at (401) 232-6355 for additional information if you are interested in participating in Bryant University's internship program.
